Gene Roddenberry was born in El Paso, Texas on August 19th 1921. He wrote Star Trek: The Motion Picture and Star trek. He founded Universal Studios, Paramount Pictures and Lucasfilm. He won Air Medal. Roddenberry graduated from Los Angeles City College, Franklin High School and University of Southern California. He was the father of Rod. He had occupations including futurist, actor and tv producer. He died in Santa Monica, California in October 2001 aged 80 years and 2 months old. His cause of death was cardiovascular disease.
